We invite you to attend our Meetings

In normal times we hold 9 meetings a year, including a picnic in May and three potluck dinners, and conduct various outings throughout the year. Meetings, with guest speakers, are held on the 4^th Friday of the month February through April and August through November with an annual meeting and program in January.

Insect Decline in Illinois Prairies
Morgan Brown is a master's student in the Entomology department at the UofI, Urbana-Champaign. While working towards their B.S. in Zoology at SIU Carbondale, Morgan got involved in research involving invertebrate ecology and decided to pursue similar research during graduate school. Morgan's master's thesis is focused on studying insect decline and conservation and contributing to the conversation by assessing the status of leafhopper communities in Illinois prairies.
Meeting will start at our new time of 6 P.M.

These programs are free and open to the public.
Carbondale Township Hall, 217 E. Main St., Carbondale. Adequate parking space is now available off Monroe Street, behind the Township Hall.
